Global Commodities UK Ltd, which claims to be the largest producer of biodiesel in the UK from its purpose built factory based at Shipdham, Norfolk, is to expand its operations with the purchase of an additional plant at Lowestoft. The new facility will increase production to in excess of 180mn litres per year. Global Commodities UK also reports that it is currently the only fuel company to be granted a low emission IPPC (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control) permit by the Environment Agency.
